The GRANNIE

My acquaintance with WP Okulu and its founder, Fikret Tozak, and my WordPress training started after my experiences in website design with Dreamweaver using CSS and HTML, and my e-commerce website development on Shopify. In the sixth month of this acquaintance, during one of our weekly meetings, Fikret mentioned a social responsibility project to support women in the workforce and expressed his intention to bring this project to life with the help of his students. That moment marked the intersection of my path with The Grannie and three other volunteers.

Each of us created and presented our homepage designs according to the feedback received from the client. Thanks to my years of dedication to design, my style and approach resonated with the client, who expressed a desire to continue with my design. As a result, the entire site’s design was left to me. Throughout this process, I received technical support from Furkan Güney and learned how to manage customer relations more professionally with guidance from Murat Aksoy by using Trello.

This project not only enhanced my digital design skills, technical proficiency in web design, and customer relationship management to a more professional level but also provided me with a sense of fulfillment by supporting women in the workforce and creativity. I am eager to share the lessons learned from this successful collaboration with potential clients.
